because everyone trust on canon and everyone know canon have very good dslr camera but this is not true because other company also have very good camera i used both of these camera sony a 58 and canon 700d and i can tell you what is the difference between both of these camera which camera will be good for you according to your need and budget you can choose first of all i tell you releasing date these both cameras released on march 2013 still i not see any other camera performance near both of these
i not have much technical information about processor but you can see on screen here is the processor, i can not tell you more about processor but i can say both of these processor work good as i know later i will tell you about price but now i tell you about warranty we will get 2 years warranty by sony india and canon india company now talk about price retail shop price around 38,000 of both of these camera you can see different price both of these cameras near around 35,000 on online shopping sites but i am telling you retail shop price because i visited there price of these camera around 38,000 which is around 566$ as per retail shop
sony and canon come with kit lens this is sony lens which you will get in the sony kit canon lens have some more range than sony both kit lens are good this price with kit lens if you check on there website you can buy this (canon) camera around 35,000 on online shopping sites i don't know why have this much price difference but you can buy these both camera with kit lens around 38,000 on retail shop
after price i want to tell you my personal experience when i plan to buy dslr camera then my first option was canon 700d because this camera is so much popular as you know canon 700d already famous who know about this camera my first option was canon but when i went retail shop then i saw some more camera i went 2 - 3 shop and there they show me sony a58 there they told me this camera is better than canon then i also check some things in shop and i find that things are good in sony a58 then finally i set my mind to go with sony and i leave canon
this sony camera is good and perform better also mostly i set this camera on auto mode i not use manual setting then shoot video on auto mode in this video i will tell you 6 things which make you sure which camera you should buy so well first of all start with megapixels and focus points which is less than sony more megapixels give us more better result i think cross type and normal not much matter
if you watch my other video you can watch more video on my channel which i shoot with sony a58 you can check on that if focus points are cross type or nomal 15 focus points are more than 9 i not want talk about cross type but i can say 15 is better than 9 this is the reason i show you sony's 15 fp better than conon's 9 cross type and normal fp not much matter but matter is how your output look in this category i show you sony is the winner because 20 mp and 15 fp which is better than canon 18 mp and 9 fp which is more important
i am satisfied with this, if we talk about focus we talk about camera lens now i am going to show you how much fast sony's focus work you can see this take less then 1 second time you can see this is fast focus canon camera take more than 1 second to set focus this work fast which is better than canon this (sony) have more fast focus and more mp that's why this is winner now we check other category about these camera
if you see canon 70d and 80d also shoot 7 fps maximum which is lower than sony's 8fps so i think this is the plus point in sony after this range sony give better focus and fps more than canon 70 and 80d range which i like in sony you can take more than 700+ photo with sony one time battery cycle with canon you can take 400+ in one battery cycle after this we talk about video then my personal experience with sony.....
i did shoot continue more than 18+ minutes with sony in the shop salesman told me this (sony) will not shoot more than 12 minutes continue my personal experience more than 18+ minutes which is too much normally i not shoot like this normally i shoot 5 - 7 minutes for time lapse other wise i shoot 3 - 4 minutes video i hear too different things about canon and i use canon for photography more i not have idea about shooting video with canon but i saw some video there they said mostly 11,12, 15 or 29 minutes maximum you can shoot with canon
which i don't know if really can shoot like this that's why i not add video category in this but mostly you will see 11 minutes shooting for canon so if we talk about shooting category then sony perform better than canon for me in the category sony is the winner now talk about screen we talk about screen and for screen sony is lower than canon canon flip-out touch screen is the best part of this camera sony have tilting screen which you can do up and down only
which is not comfortable as you can see canon have flip-out screen you can record video more easily like i shoot now with your camera see yourself on screen but you can see yourself on sony camera lens once you set your camera this is not clear as screen but you can see your on focus and after some time you will be comfortable to shoot you with this camera but as we need clear function then here canon is the better option than sony canon have 3 inch touch screen which is so much good
and sony have 2.7 inch screen which is some small but this not much matter when you see canon screen you will know you have some good things with you sony's scree is normal and not look attractive but after this that work fine honestly i can say canon screen is better than sony how much good work done buy sony screen but here canon's screen is the best one and sony not stand near that specially for screen canon is the winner in this screen category these both camera have inbuilt mic which work fine only in this range mostly work fine only.... microphone
both camera give use external mic option which is very good sony have speaker but i think canon not have speaker on canon maybe you need check sound after save clip on your computer or you need check with headphone i give half marks to both camera because of that speak because i am not sure if canon have or not now talk about camera size because that also matter no one want to talk with a bulky camera camera should be small and hand this is matter also sony's camera winner in this category but they have small difference but this small difference matter much
when you have small hand i have normal hand i can hold both camera easily but some people have small hand then sony will be best camera for you you hold well with good grip in this size category you can see weight also sony have 70 - 80 gm less than canon this 70 - 80 gm not much matter for anyone but if talk about over all performance
as i talk about handy, good camera size then sony is the winner in this category canon have some over size and weight canon going high but not much matter, this is not much big but as i told you i will tell you about best performance and here sony is the winner with good size and weight than canon now talk about most important thing according to me batter is one of the importand part of camera any dslr and any digital camera how long time battery perform this will be good for you because no one want change batter again and again sony's battery perform here way better than canon
as you can see on screen as per my personal experience sony's battery full charge within one hour canon's battery take more than one hour time as i experienced about battery power 1650 mah for sony and 1120 mah for canon difference of 500 mah matter too much when you go outside for shoot like i went my village then there around 150 -200 minutes as i remember
i did shoot 150 minutes with one battery in that 150 minutes i take 2 - 3 minutes clips and maybe 5 - 10 photos also i take i use this camera for make video not for photography as i tell you battery performance also matter.... big matter i did shoot long time with one battery canon not work like this after watch this video you know now which camera you should buy both camera work as they are
you should remember all that 6 things when you to buy any dslr camera or andy digital camera how is that how that work these 6 things are basic we should know all basic things of any camera according to me this is the performance of these both camera this video is based on my personal experience if you think something wrong then you can comment me on this video as i tell you this is from my persona experience sony not pay me anything for this video as you know i gave half half marks to both camera for speaker

no issue on this but if you want for video then sony is the best option from both of these camera as i tell you this have fast focus, have more fp, perform very good and have good battery life whatever we need for make video we have all in sony a58 according to me you should choose this and you can use this for photo also for photo you need set focus point from screen then capture photo with canon you can take photo easily to touch on screen and select subject for photo this is the difference if you want for photo then you can buy canon but if you want video or photo then sony will be good for all of you
